Sundance Film Fest: Nominees for Oscar 2007

January 22, 2008–Several of the nominated artists for the 2007 Oscar Awards are affiliated with the Sundance Film Fesival. Some of the major nominees, such as “Away from Her” and “The Savages,” premiered at last year's film fest.

January 15, 2008–The Sundance Institute today announced the launch of DocSource, a new website
designed to extend the Sundance Documentary Film Program's support for contemporary social
issue documentary storytellers into the virtual arena.

Sundance Film Fest 2008: Documentary Films in All the Sections

As usual, the documentary films, both American and foreign-language, at the 2008 Sundance Film Fest represent a wide spectrum of issues, from examinations of the political system and the use of natural resources to explorations of cultural development and intimate portraits of legendary artists. The 16 films in the American Dramatic Competition were selected from an all-time record of 953 submissions.

Goliath: Sundance Film Fest 2008

After three consecutive Sundance shorts, Austin-based David and Nathan Zellner return to the Sundance Film Festival with “Goliath,” their first feature, which will premiere January 21, 2008 in the Spectrum section.
