Directed by A. Edward Sutherland, the film stars Pat O’Brien, George Murphy, Jackie Cooper, and Desi Arnaz.
Though nominated for the Special Effects Oscar, it did not win. The winner was Cecil B. DeMille’s Reap the Wild Wind.
