Craft, The (1996): Andrew Fleming’s Supernatural Horror–Female Friendship

Andrew Fleming’s supernatural horror movie, The Craft centers around four outcast girls at a California high school who turn to witchcraft to deal with their feelings of alienation and boredom; although the witchcraft soon grows out of hand and proves to be the group’s undoing.

Celebrating adolescent nonconformity and female independence,  the film has since become a cult classic.
