When Hilary Swank won her first Best Actress Oscar, for the 1999 Boys Don’t Cry, she forgot to thank her husband.
She corrected that error when she won her second Best Actress Oscar, for Clint Eastwood’s 2004 Million Dollar Baby, saying: “I want to start by thanking my husband (Chad Lowe) because I’d like to think that I learned from past mistakes. Chad, you’re my everything.”
