In this silly, incoherent adventure, directed by Bernard Kowlski, Maximillian Schell leads a group of Victorian adventurers in search of sunken treasure, wining up at ground zero due to explosion of volcanic island of Krakatowa.
The supporting cast includes some good actors: Diane Baker, Brian Keith, Rossano Brazzi, and Sal Mineo.
