June 27, 2008–Nu Image/Millennium will remake “Red Sonja” with Rose McGowan in the lead role, with Robert Rodriguez producing along with Avi Lerner, Boaz Davidson, Joe Gatta and George Furla. The picture will be presented by Rodriguez and directed by Douglas Aarniokoski from David White's script.
