The first line of defense against such a nightmarish occurrence is a vast army of health workers who go door-to-door in some of India’s poorest neighborhoods, ensuring every child is vaccinated. Effective immediately, Mr. Cooper will serve as the Festival's artistic director leading the Festival's programming and strategic growth, also overseeing activities such as content production, online initiatives and key national and international partnerships. Mr. Cooper previously served as Director, Creative Development for the Sundance Institute and Director of Programming, Sundance Film Festival.

Feb 28, 2009–Disney’s “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” did well on Friday, grossing $4.8 million at 1,271 venues. Among concert pictures, that’s the second highest opening day ever, filing behind the $8.7 million racked up by last year’s “Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour,” Disney's first 3D concert film.
Sherlock Holmes: Guy Ritchie's Picture Opens Dec 25, 2009

Feb 25, 2009–Warner will release Guy Ritchie's Robert Downey Jr.-Jude Law starrer “Sherlock Holmes” on Christmas, Dec. 25, instead of Nov. 13. The relocation of “Sherlock Holmes” to Christmas Day comes after Sony moved Roland Emmerich's “2010” to Nov. 13.
