The story investigates a grey area of male/female interaction and the gradations between the innocuous and the offensive. It isn't a black-and-white scenario or politically correct. A man tells a dirty joke, a woman tells a dirtier one, then there is an explicit remark or something physical. At what point does this do damage Where do you draw the line

While it's true that I did grow up in Brooklyn and my parents did divorce People will come up to God and say to me, It must be hard putting everything so nakedly out there. But it doesn't feel that way to me because it's been so reinvented. What's real is the emotion.

What I love about stop-motion animation is that it's so tactile. There's something wonderful about being able to physically touch and move the characters, and to see their world actually exist. It's similar to making a live action film, If you’re doing it all on blue screen, it doesn't give you the feeling of actually being there.
