The Jury, Audience, NEXT! and other special award-winners of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival were announced tonight at the Festival’s Awards Ceremony hosted by Tim Blake Nelson (star of Flypaper which premiered in this year’s Premieres section) in Park City, Utah. Sundance Institute today announced a new program to connect its artists with audiences by offering access to top-tier creative funding and marketing backed by the Institute’s promotional support.

October 25, 2010 – The fifth edition of the International Rome Film Festival will be dedicating a tribute to La Dolce Vita. On October 30th at 6:00 p.m., on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of Fellini's film, the Sala Petrassi of the Auditorium Parco della Musica will be premiering worldwide the digital restoration of La Dolce Vita. 

October 5, 2010 – The International Film Festival Rotterdam announces the first two of the themed programmes in the festival’s Signals section. The first of these, Red Westerns, presents Soviet and Eastern European Westerns from the period from 1924 to 1980; the second, ‘Out of Fashion’, explores the growing interaction between the fashion industry and independent filmmaking. In Signals, IFFR devotes attention to current and historical developments in the area of film. The 40th IFFR will take place from 26 January to 6 February 2011.
